Senior Data Architect – ETIC

About the role

PWC ETIC is looking for a seasoned Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑level data platforms. The role focuses on creating scalable, secure, and high‑performance data architectures that support both transactional and analytical workloads across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of flexible data architectures that meet complex business requirements.
• Create comprehensive data models, flow diagrams, and integration frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end cloud data pipelines, including ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering and DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and optimise data solutions.
• Integrate data governance, quality, metadata, lineage, and regulatory compliance into all architectures.
• Embed data security measures such as encryption and access controls, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA and other privacy laws.
• Engage with business stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to translate requirements into data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data platform design.
• Proven track record with hyperscale cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of data modelling, integration, governance and security.
• Experience working in advisory or consulting environments.
