Senior Data Engineer – Business Intelligence

We are looking for a highly analytical Senior Data Engineer to design, develop and implement advanced business intelligence solutions that enable data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain BI dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau or QlikView.
• Integrate and analyse data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, Excel files, APIs and third‑party applications.
• Build and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines and workflows for reliable data movement.
• Design and optimise data models, data warehouses and data lakes for scalable analytics.
• Write advanced SQL queries, scripts and stored procedures for efficient data extraction and transformation.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, consistency and governance across reporting environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BI reports, dashboards, data pipelines and data sources.
• Deliver clear insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders through data storytelling.
• Stay updated on emerging BI, analytics, cloud and data technologies and recommend best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting or Data Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or QlikView.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with database systems like SQL Server or Oracle.
• Good understanding of ETL processes, data modelling and data‑warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Python and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
