Senior Design Manager

About the role

The Senior Design Manager will steer the creative direction of MAF Retail’s e‑commerce brand, overseeing product design, media campaigns and user experience. Reporting to senior leadership, the role mentors a multidisciplinary design team to translate global brand standards into a compelling local online experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative strategies for product pages, paid/owned/earned media, CRM visuals and UI/UX, aligning with business objectives.
• Adapt global brand guidelines to the Egyptian market, ensuring consistent, customer‑centric visuals across all digital touchpoints.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and digital best practices to continuously evolve the brand’s visual identity.
• Collaborate with performance marketing, e‑commerce, product, UX and regional teams to deliver high‑impact creative solutions.
• Present concepts and performance results to executives and stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Oversee end‑to‑end creative delivery, balancing quality with speed and scalability for e‑commerce performance.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate a team of graphic, digital and UI/UX designers, identifying training needs and building a talent pipeline.
• Establish agile workflows, manage creative traffic and ensure timely delivery of assets under tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven operational leader with experience managing design teams in fast‑paced e‑commerce environments.
• Strong ability to translate brand strategy into localized, high‑quality creative executions.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional partners and senior stakeholders.
• Track record of driving performance‑focused design while maintaining brand consistency.
