Senior Financial Accountant (Remote)

About the role

The Senior Financial Accountant role at Boulevard Services is a full‑time remote position responsible for managing core accounting operations and delivering accurate financial reporting. You will work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and reconcile general‑ledger accounts.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements, analyze variances and provide performance insights.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, accounting standards and relevant regulations.
• Assist with audits, tax filings and internal control improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and process‑streamlining initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and general‑ledger accounting.
• 8‑10 years of progressive accounting experience, including senior or lead responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
