Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support Cultiv’s financial health and growth by delivering accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for its clinic network. You will work closely with clinic managers and leadership to provide insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and annual financial statements for clinic operations.
• Lead month‑end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for clinics, departments, and service lines.
• Analyze revenue, cost per visit, payroll, and operating expenses to improve profitability.
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs related to clinic performance.
• Provide clear analysis of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow for leadership decisions.
• Partner with clinic managers and operations to support planning, performance reviews, and cost‑control initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Support audits, compliance, and internal controls in line with healthcare requirements.
• Prepare ad‑hoc financial analysis for growth initiatives and expansion plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a financial analyst, with at least 1 year in accounting or FP&A, preferably in healthcare or service‑based organizations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with accounting/financial systems such as QuickBooks or similar.
• Excellent analytical ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, patient‑focused environment.
