Senior Front-End Developer (React/Next.js)

About the role

VOIS, the strategic arm of Vodafone Group, is looking for a Senior Front‑End Developer to create high‑quality, semantic, and accessible web applications. You will work with modern frameworks such as React.js and Next.js to build reusable components and deliver performant, responsive user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop semantic and accessible UI components following best‑practice guidelines.
• Ensure responsive design and optimal performance across devices and screen sizes.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and uphold quality standards.
• Continuously refactor and improve the codebase for maintainability and speed.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve front‑end issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay up‑to‑date with front‑end trends, tools, and technologies and share insights.
• Maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and technical decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of front‑end development experience.
• Strong understanding of semantic HTML5, CSS3, and accessibility standards.
• Solid grasp of core JavaScript (ES6+) concepts independent of frameworks.
• Proficiency with React.js and Next.js.
• Experience in responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for knowledge sharing.
