Senior Human Resources Associate

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Associate provides administrative and operational support to the HR functions of the IOM Cairo Mission, working under the supervision of the Head of Resources Management and the National Human Resources Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating staffing needs and coordinating recruitment processes, including drafting Terms of Reference, vacancy notices, screening candidates, and preparing interview materials.
• Participate in interview panels, conduct reference checks, draft assessment forms, and prepare job offers.
• Manage pre‑employment activities such as Entry on Duty documentation, medical examinations, insurance enrollment, induction sessions, and security briefings.
• Maintain HR system data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and verification of eligibility for allowances and benefits.
• Monitor contract administration and support other HR operational tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Experience in HR administration and recruitment coordination.
• Ability to work under supervision while handling multiple HR processes.
• Strong attention to detail for data entry and documentation.
• Familiarity with HR policies, pre‑employment procedures, and benefit administration.
