Senior Integration Support Technical Specialist

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Senior Integration Support Technical Specialist to work closely with operations teams. You will implement and maintain scalable systems, automate processes, and ensure continuous monitoring of system health.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, proactively addressing issues.
• Implement monitoring tools and frameworks to collect metrics and analyse trends.
• Participate in on‑call rotations for 24/7 coverage and incident response.
• Investigate incidents, implement preventive measures, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Automate repetitive tasks, develop scripts, tools, and configurations for deployments.
• Apply infrastructure‑as‑code principles to provision and manage resources.
• Identify bottlenecks, conduct load testing, and perform capacity planning.
• Contribute to retrospectives and suggest process and system improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 3 years of operations experience with large‑scale systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes.
• Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell) and Python.
• Unix/Linux system administration and networking.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Ant, and web servers.
• Knowledge of databases and container orchestration.
