Senior Interior Designer

About the role

We are seeking a senior interior designer to lead creative projects and mentor a design team in Zamalek, Cairo. The role involves translating client visions into functional, aesthetically‑pleasing interiors while ensuring budgets and timelines are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of interior design concepts aligned with client goals, budgets, and aesthetics.
• Create mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas.
• Develop spatial layouts, furniture arrangements, and circulation designs to optimize functionality and flow.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications, and procurement documents.
• Select materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that enhance the design vision.
• Manage junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to source materials and ensure quality execution.
• Conduct site visits to verify that design implementation aligns with the original vision.
• Collaborate with project managers to keep designs on budget and schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of interior design experience with a diverse project portfolio.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong communication and client‑management skills.
• Solid understanding of design principles, materials, and construction methods.
