Senior IT Specialist

About the role

Trufla Technology is looking for a Senior IT Specialist to be the technical backbone of its Cairo office. The role involves hands‑on support, system administration and security management for a fast‑growing digital insurance platform.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for complex Tier‑2/3 technical issues, both onsite and remote.
• Install, configure, test and monitor end‑user workstations, peripherals and telephony equipment.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and manage user accounts, groups, licenses and policies in Azure AD.
• Handle endpoint management with Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, configuration profiles and app deployment.
• Maintain asset records and device lifecycle using Snipe‑IT.
• Support OpenVPN and remote‑access configurations for staff.
• Assist with cloud infrastructure components on AWS, GCP or Azure and maintain network switches, routers and firewalls.
• Apply and enforce endpoint security standards, access‑control policies and data‑handling procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT professional handling complex technical problems independently.
• Ability to support junior team members and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset with proactive problem‑identification.
