Senior IT Testing Specialist

About the role

The Senior IT Testing Specialist will lead the design, execution, and documentation of test scenarios to ensure that new applications and change requests meet both business and security requirements. This role works closely with business teams, change management, and external consultants to deliver high‑quality testing outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on SRS and change requests.
• Deploy and manage testing frameworks and tools such as HPQC and HPSM.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee testing efforts for assigned tasks, ensuring compliance with SOP, IT, and InfoSec policies.
• Coordinate with business users to identify testing cases and resolve issues during the testing cycle.
• Track defects, verify corrections, and ensure completion of regression testing, especially for Epic modules.
• Produce periodic performance and testing reports for the direct manager.
• Maintain testing documentation, daily activity sheets, and ensure audit readiness.
• Participate in functional training, review vendor test cases, and attend meetings related to testing or change requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in functional and regression testing within an IT environment.
• Strong understanding of SOP, IT, and information security policies.
• Ability to lead testing activities, mentor team members, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience working with change management processes and external testing consultants.
