Senior Landscape Architect

About the role

Meinhardt is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead innovative, sustainable design solutions for a diverse portfolio of projects in Cairo. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal engineers to deliver high‑quality outcomes from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead landscape architecture projects from concept design through detailed design, tender documentation, and construction support.
• Develop innovative, practical, and sustainable landscape solutions that respond to project requirements and the regional environment.
• Define project scope, deliverables, resource needs, and programme schedules.
• Conduct client presentations, design reviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines to ensure integrated delivery.
• Prepare and review design drawings, technical specifications, tender documents, and construction packages.
• Ensure compliance with briefs, client requirements, regulatory approvals, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, design quality, and delivery milestones.
• Mentor junior landscape architects and designers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, workflows, and technical excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
• Proven track record leading projects from concept through construction.
• Experience with mixed‑use, hospitality, residential, public realm, infrastructure, or master‑planning projects.
• Strong understanding of design development, authority approvals, tender documentation, and construction administration.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
