Senior Manager - Audit

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Audit to lead Al‑Futtaim Group’s internal audit function across its diverse business sectors. Reporting to executive leadership and the Audit Committee, you will ensure alignment with enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance and governance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a group‑wide internal audit strategy and annual audit plan, in collaboration with Risk, Compliance and Finance.
• Lead high‑impact audits, fraud investigations and special reviews, presenting findings and risk insights to department owners and division heads.
• Drive adoption of data‑analytics, automation and continuous‑auditing practices, including the use of tools such as ACL.
• Oversee audit team performance, resource allocation and professional development.
• Review and approve audit programmes, document audit work in the Audit Management system and prepare professional audit reports.
• Discuss preliminary findings with management, prepare executive summaries and assist in monthly summary reporting to the Group Director.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading internal audit functions in large, diversified organisations.
• Strong ability to align assurance activities with risk, compliance and finance functions.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
• Capability to extend audit coverage using computer‑based techniques.
