Senior Manager - Audit

About the role

The Senior Manager – Audit will lead Al-Futtaim Group’s internal audit function across multiple business sectors, providing assurance to executive leadership and the Audit Committee. This role ensures alignment with enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the group‑wide internal audit strategy and annual audit plan.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Finance to align assurance activities.
• Drive adoption of data analytics, automation, and continuous auditing practices.
• Lead high‑impact audits, fraud investigations, and special reviews.
• Present findings and risk insights to department owners and division heads.
• Oversee audit team performance, resource allocation, and professional development.
• Review and approve audit programs before audit commencement.
• Document audit work in the Audit Management system and prepare professional audit reports.
• Prepare executive summaries, detailed reports, and audit follow‑up forms.

Required profile

• Senior managerial experience in audit, as indicated by the title Senior Manager – Audit.
• Ability to extend audit coverage using computer‑based techniques such as ACL.
• Commitment to high professional standards in line with International Standards of Internal Audit.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ACL or similar data‑analysis audit tools.
• Experience in data analytics, automation, and continuous auditing.
• Knowledge of International Standards of Internal Audit.
• Familiarity with Audit Management systems for documentation and reporting.
