Senior Manager, Business Development & Engineering (MENAP & SSA)

About the role

Mondelez International is seeking a senior leader to drive Business Development & Engineering (BD&E) strategy across the MENAP & SSA region. You will oversee innovation, change management and capital investment projects to support growth and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead I2M/IIM processes, prepare site inputs for regional BD reviews and manage project verification and design reviews.
• Coordinate master data, artwork, material availability and track project timelines, acting as the main interface between commercial, engineering, manufacturing and R&D teams.
• Support site strategic planning, CAPEX budgeting and integration of innovation plans into supply chain capacity forecasts.
• Drive ongoing simplification, de‑complexity and productivity initiatives while ensuring service levels and manufacturing hurdle rates are met.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of operational experience in CPG manufacturing, with strong knowledge of TPM, 5S, Lean and Six Sigma.
• Proven project leadership skills covering concept, design, installation, commissioning and commercialization.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management abilities.
• Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) and fluency in English.
