Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Responsible for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of mechanical equipment and systems within the manufacturing facility. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment improvement, and supporting engineering projects to ensure smooth and continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical equipment and production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and identify root causes to minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor equipment condition and performance, recommending improvements.
• Maintain pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Supervise and guide maintenance technicians as needed.
• Support installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of mechanical equipment and production lines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, beverage, or pharmaceutical sectors is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Ability to perform root‑cause analysis and resolve recurring mechanical problems.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Good command of MS Office and Excel.
