Senior MEP BIM Modeler

About the role

We are looking for a Senior MEP BIM Modeler to join GSC Engineering & Geo Consulting’s multidisciplinary team in Nasr City, Cairo. The role involves creating high‑quality BIM models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire‑protection systems and supporting projects across the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOD 300‑500 BIM models for MEP and fire‑protection disciplines using Revit MEP.
• Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural models, resolve clashes and design conflicts using Navisworks Manage.
• Produce coordinated shop drawings, sections, details, schedules and installation drawings directly from BIM models.
• Support multidisciplinary engineering projects in commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
• Collaborate with consultants and contractors, adhering to BIM Execution Plans, BIM standards and CDE workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of BIM modeling experience, preferably in an engineering consultancy.
• Proven track record of multidisciplinary coordination on GCC projects.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit MEP (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD MEP.
• Experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360 (advantage).
• Knowledge of Dynamo for Revit automation (advantage).
