Senior Network Engineer – IT Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation and support of our enterprise network and infrastructure across Egypt. The role combines hands‑on technical work with mentorship of the IT team.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO) and Linux systems (Ubuntu, AlmaLinux) supporting critical services.
• Manage Cisco switches, Fortinet and Sophos firewalls, wireless access points and enforce VLAN segmentation and firewall policies.
• Support SD‑WAN, VPN (IPsec/SSL) and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) for nationwide branch connectivity.
• Oversee VMware and Hyper‑V virtualization environments, ensuring high availability and resource efficiency.
• Implement backup solutions (Veeam) and maintain disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Use monitoring tools such as Zabbix and automate tasks with Python, Bash and PowerShell scripts.
• Serve as escalation point for complex IT incidents and ensure security compliance including RADIUS authentication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration or network engineering, with 1‑2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure.
