Senior Odoo Accountant & Financial Advisor

About the role

AGAD Technology is looking for a detail-oriented, independent and passionate Senior Accountant to take ownership of its financial and accounting department. The role covers the implementation and day-to-day operation of the Odoo Accounting module, timely reporting, accurate invoicing, budget tracking, VAT declarations and strategic financial support to management. The workplace is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Odoo Accounting module, input and categorise financial data, reconcile bank statements and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and send client invoices through Odoo, follow up on late payments, review and pay approved supplier invoices and ensure compliant VAT calculations and filings.
• Generate financial reports on revenue, profit, expenses and margins, present budget vs actuals, and produce balance sheets, P&L statements and year-end reports.
• Calculate monthly employee payroll including bonuses, allowances and social contributions, and compute and track sales commissions.
• Propose and manage budgets, advise management on performance and support decisions on pricing, cost control and cash flow.

Required profile

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proven expertise in the Odoo Accounting module (must-have).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, payroll rules and VAT filing, preferably international.
• Experience with B2B service companies preferred.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch is a big plus.
• Independent, proactive, detail-oriented and committed to the company's financial health.
