Senior Procurement Buyer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Buyer to lead sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring cost‑effective and high‑quality supply for our operations. The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and supporting inventory planning within the framework of Egyptian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to achieve cost savings.
• Process purchase orders accurately and maintain up‑to‑date procurement records.
• Monitor market trends to uncover opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfil procurement needs.
• Maintain positive supplier relationships and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, or delivery.
• Manage inventory levels and assist in forecasting future purchasing requirements.
• Handle import procedures and oversee customs clearance when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
• Proven negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
