Senior Procurement Operations Excellence Associate

About the role

The Senior Procurement Operations Excellence Associate is responsible for end‑to‑end coordination of import and export activities, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations while driving performance and visibility across the supply chain. The role serves as the central point for monitoring KPIs, handling escalations and communicating with internal teams, customers and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily import/export operations including order entry, delivery scheduling and customs documentation.
• Liaise with local teams, warehouses, production and co‑packers to resolve operational constraints.
• Ensure adherence to export regulations, internal SOPs and trade compliance requirements (Incoterms, HS codes, export licences).
• Prepare and validate customs paperwork such as commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates.
• Track and report KPIs (on‑time delivery, volume fill, clearance lead time) and produce weekly dashboards for leadership.
• Act as escalation point for inventory, transport and customs issues, communicating risks and mitigation plans.
• Identify process gaps, propose improvements and support automation initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree (BA/BSc) with strong English communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years experience in export operations, customs or trade compliance.
• Proven experience coordinating cross‑border freight, production capacity and warehouse inventory.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and handle escalations effectively.

Required skills

• SAP (Order Management) for order processing.
• Advanced Excel for KPI reporting and dashboard creation.
• Knowledge of trade compliance (Incoterms, HS codes, EU export regulations).
• Experience preparing customs documentation and handling export licences.
