Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer to lead material quantity take‑offs, manage variations, and support payment applications across our construction projects. The role requires accurate measurement, thorough contract review, and close collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate Material Quantity Take‑Off (MQTO) for all items using the company’s specified software.
• Prepare professional MQTO reports and variation logs, reports, and records.
• Assess subcontractor and supplier variations, material take‑offs, and approve Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
• Identify contract document modifications, quantify variations, and support waste reduction initiatives.
• Provide monthly reports, delegate tasks to Junior QS staff, and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Support subcontractor/supplier issues and maintain compliance with HSE policies, risk assessments, and environmental standards.
• Execute any additional tasks related to the function or department as assigned.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering (Civil or Architecture).
• Proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction sector.
• Strong understanding of contract documents, variations, and payment processes.
