Senior SAP FICO Implementation Consultant

About the role

Envision Employment Solutions is recruiting, on behalf of a partner in consulting and technology services, a Senior SAP FICO Implementation Consultant. The consultant leads the design, configuration and delivery of SAP Finance and Controlling solutions, working with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement, optimize and support SAP FICO systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP FICO implementation projects from initiation to post-implementation support, keeping to timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Gather business requirements with stakeholders, IT teams and vendors and design SAP FICO solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Analyze existing processes and systems to find gaps and opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Configure and customize FI and CO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting and Internal Orders.
• Perform data migration: extraction, cleansing and transformation from legacy systems.
• Develop and run test plans covering unit, system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Deliver end-user training and support, and troubleshoot complex issues with technical teams and SAP support.
• Mentor junior team members and recommend process improvements based on SAP FICO best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation, configuration and support.
• Fluent English; French or German is an advantage.
• SAP FICO certification is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in SAP FI and CO modules and their submodules.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end SAP FICO projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing and user training.
• Knowledge of financial accounting principles and the ability to map business needs to SAP FICO.
• Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration (chart of accounts, company code, fiscal year variants, document types, posting keys).
• Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and solid project management and stakeholder management skills.
