Senior Security Engineer – Enterprise Cybersecurity

About the role

Vodafone Business is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of cybersecurity solutions for enterprise customers. You will act as a technical leader across multiple security domains, ensuring robust protection of network, endpoint, identity and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise‑scale security projects, from architecture design to implementation and support.
• Develop and maintain secure architecture frameworks covering network, endpoint, identity and cloud security.
• Manage Security Operations, including monitoring, detection, threat management, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Analyse and troubleshoot complex security and infrastructure issues across integrated environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless security integration.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and guiding security teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and PCI‑DSS.

Required profile

• 5–9 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or implementation roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, fluent in Arabic and English.
• Proven leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Security architecture and operations in enterprise environments.
• Threat management, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms.
• Endpoint protection solutions.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies.
• Firewalls and network security devices.
• Experience with vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet.
