Senior Site Engineer – Civil

About the role

The Senior Site Engineer – Civil will lead and supervise all civil construction activities on‑site, ensuring that work is carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, schedule, quality standards and health‑safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities on‑site.
• Ensure execution follows approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and client representatives to resolve technical issues.
• Review shop drawings and method statements before execution.
• Track project progress and ensure activities meet the planned schedule.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Inspect completed work for compliance with quality standards.
• Work with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain quality and safety compliance.
• Identify site issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Review material requirements and liaise with procurement and warehouse teams.
• Verify quantities executed and support invoice and progress payment preparation.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support to stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior site engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in civil construction projects, preferably high‑rise, commercial, residential, hospitality or mixed‑use.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, concrete works, finishing and structural activities.
• Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.

Required skills

• AutoCAD.
• Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Primavera P6 (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and HSE regulations.
