Senior Software Engineer – Enterprise Agentic Automation (Remote)

About the role

We are building the operating system for the next generation of Agentic AI. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design, develop and run enterprise‑grade agentic automation solutions that are embedded in Camunda‑orchestrated workflows, delivering reliable and secure AI‑driven processes for the company and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement production‑grade agentic orchestration systems that combine executable BPMN, Camunda workers/connectors, DMN and AI components.
• Build AI agents with clear responsibilities, toolsets, memory strategies and decision boundaries.
• Engineer context pipelines (static instructions, dynamic enrichment, retrieval‑augmented generation, constraints, evaluation signals) to ensure consistent model behaviour.
• Implement structured prompting, output enforcement, human‑in‑the‑loop patterns and guardrails for safe execution.
• Create evaluation frameworks, feedback loops and testing suites for deterministic and non‑deterministic systems.
• Operate agents in production (AgentOps) including logging, monitoring, alerting, incident response and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to infrastructure standards such as CI/CD pipelines, environment separation, secrets management and security fundamentals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing, building and operating production‑grade backend or platform systems.
• Strong expertise with Java and Spring framework.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML pipelines and agentic AI concepts.
• Deep understanding of security, reliability and scalability in cloud environments.
• Proven ability to work remotely and collaborate across distributed teams.
