Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (React Native)

About the role

HubFit is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in mobile development with React Native. You will work on the core fitness app, delivering new features, improving performance, and owning the white‑label infrastructure that powers thousands of branded versions of the app.

Key responsibilities

• Develop polished React Native features with fast UI responsiveness, complex gestures, and smooth data integration.
• Design and implement robust offline capabilities and local storage strategies for low‑connectivity environments.
• Create custom native modules and configuration plugins to access platform‑specific iOS and Android APIs.
• Optimize media handling, including video streaming, image caching, and rendering to keep the app lightweight.
• Maintain and automate the multi‑tenant codebase and pipelines that build and distribute thousands of unique branded apps.
• Expand internal dashboards and scripts that monitor app health, validate assets, and trigger OTA updates.
• Guide coaches through developer account setups and manage app‑store compliance, certificates, and rejection troubleshooting.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years delivering production React Native (Expo or bare) applications.
• Proven ownership of systems or feature areas from design through production with minimal oversight.
• Strong understanding of complex asynchronous data flows, API integrations, and offline data persistence at scale.
• Experience writing automation scripts and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of Apple and Google review guidelines and app‑store submission processes.
