Senior Software Testing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Testing Engineer to lead the design, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test suites for web, REST API, and mobile applications. You will work closely with development, product, and design teams in an agile environment to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated functional and non‑functional testing across web, API, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Create acceptance criteria, provide feedback on user stories, and assess release readiness.
• Identify, record, and track defects using the issue‑tracking system; conduct thorough regression testing after fixes.
• Explore automation opportunities and gradually integrate automated tests with manual processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Proficiency in writing clear test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving aptitude.

Required skills

• Web, REST API, and mobile application testing.
• SQL query writing, troubleshooting, and data validation.
• API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
• Scripting/programming languages such as JavaScript or Java.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks like Playwright, Appium, or Rest Assured (plus).
