Senior Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to manage end‑to‑end procurement and logistics operations across multiple regions. The role involves coordinating purchases, freight, customs clearance and warehouse activities to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up with suppliers on purchase orders, production status, packing lists and shipping documents.
• Arrange sea, air and land freight shipments, request and compare quotations, and secure insurance.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely clearance and verify all import documentation.
• Track shipments from supplier collection through customs to final warehouse delivery, handling any shortages or damages.
• Prepare regular logistics reports on open shipments, expected arrivals, delays and risks.
• Work with finance to process supplier payments, duties, taxes and customs cost reviews.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams on receiving schedules and unloading requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement and logistics experience, including at least two years of foreign procurement.
• Experience coordinating shipments for multiple countries (e.g., Egypt, UAE, KSA, Germany, China).
• Strong follow‑up and communication abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, import documentation and customs clearance procedures in Egypt.
• Familiarity with Nafeza portal, ACID issuance and CargoX document upload processes.
