About the role
We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our finance team in New Cairo. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with Egyptian tax regulations and support the company’s tax strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax inspection files and coordinate with tax authorities.
- Handle e‑invoicing processes and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and submit corporate income tax returns accurately and on time.
- Manage VAT calculations, reporting, and submissions.
- Calculate, file, and monitor withholding tax (WHT) obligations.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and records for all tax matters.
- Stay informed of changes in Egyptian tax laws and implement necessary updates.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in taxation or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax, VAT and WHT regulations.
- Experience with tax inspection procedures and e‑invoicing systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
