Sensory Art Designer

About the role

REPLI.CAIRO is looking for a Sensory Art Designer to create immersive spatial experiences for hospitality, residential, retail, exhibition and cultural projects. The role blends concept development, storytelling, material research, lighting, scent, sound and tactile design to craft environments that reinforce brand identity and engage users emotionally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project concepts, narratives and thematic directions, supported by cultural and trend research.
• Create mood boards, presentations and storytelling frameworks that define the emotional journey of each space.
• Curate and specify materials, textures, colors, lighting, scent, music and tactile touchpoints to ensure a cohesive sensory experience.
• Design visual concepts, signage systems, environmental graphics and wayfinding solutions.
• Produce graphic and marketing assets that integrate brand identity with physical environments.
• Research innovative finishes, lighting systems and experiential technologies, maintaining a material library.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, FF&E specialists, artists and production teams to coordinate sensory execution from concept through installation.
• Review mock‑ups, prototypes and final installations to guarantee design intent is preserved.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Experience Design, Product Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in experiential, hospitality or related design disciplines.
• Strong understanding of how sight, touch, sound, scent and emotion shape user perception of space.
