Service Director

About the role

The Service Director leads FieldCore’s service operations within a defined geographic region, acting as the primary liaison between clients and the field workforce. This senior role combines client relationship management, contract negotiation, and operational oversight to ensure reliable and cost‑effective energy services.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the workflow and quality of Service Managers, coordinating with the Regional General Manager.
• Manage sales and financial functions, including inventory analysis, accounts receivable, invoice review, and achievement of operating plan targets.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to meet business objectives.
• Negotiate service agreements with clients in line with the DOA.
• Partner with Resource Managers to optimise workforce utilisation and address long‑term staffing needs.
• Contribute to strategic planning and drive cost‑optimization initiatives to meet regional cost‑out targets.
• Collaborate with Global Resourcing and Training to develop employee training programs.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new field personnel.
• Review mobilisation data, employee feedback, and weekly reports to improve service delivery.
• Coordinate with EHS teams on site audits to ensure compliance and address safety issues.
• Handle HR‑related matters, time and expense approvals, and other office activities.
• Travel as required and work holidays, weekends, or overtime to meet field assignments.

Required profile

• Minimum 11 years of experience in field services, operations management, or related technical services.
• Proven ability to manage large, geographically dispersed teams and meet financial targets.
• Strong negotiation and client‑facing skills.
• Experience with workforce planning, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.
