Service Manager

About the role

The Service Manager leads complex service delivery projects for Philips' medical device portfolio, ensuring that field service engineers meet client expectations and regulatory standards. This role combines strategic planning, customer relationship management, and continuous improvement to drive high‑quality service performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional service delivery projects, coordinating resources to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage and develop a team of Field Service engineers, fostering growth and high performance.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key customers, aligning service delivery with their business objectives.
• Analyze service performance data, identify trends, and implement process optimizations.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end service lifecycle, from initiation through post‑delivery review.
• Identify and mitigate service delivery risks, ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Facilitate regular client meetings to review performance and discuss improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management on service metrics and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Healthcare, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Service Delivery Management or Customer Relationship Management within the Medical Devices industry.
• At least 5 years of experience working with MR/CT modalities.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high‑performing technical teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem‑solving and decision‑making.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written) and the local language.
