Shift Supervisor

About the role

Martini, a leading beverage consultancy in Egypt, is looking for a full-time Shift Supervisor to join its New Cairo team. The role is on-site and focuses on overseeing daily shift operations, ensuring that the company’s beverage standards and service quality are consistently delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff assignments and monitor workflow during each shift.
• Supervise opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor inventory levels, handle cash transactions and prepare basic reports.
• Coach and support team members in beverage preparation and service.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
• Communicate operational needs and feedback to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality, food-and-beverage or retail supervision.
• Strong leadership, conflict-resolution and guest-relationship skills.
• Excellent time-management, organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business or a related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic inventory control and cash-handling.
• Familiarity with beverage service standards and bar or café operations.
