Site Accountant

About the role

The Site Accountant will manage all accounting and financial operations for Agri venture's farm in Wadi Alnatrun. This on‑site role ensures accurate recording of daily transactions, cash handling, and financial reporting to support efficient farm management.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily journal entries and all farm‑related financial transactions.
• Monitor cash expenses, petty cash, and employee advances.
• Review invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Follow up on accounts payable and receivable linked to farm operations.
• Control inventory of fertilizers, pesticides, packaging materials, spare parts, and supplies; reconcile book balances with physical counts.
• Participate in periodic and annual stock‑taking activities and report discrepancies.
• Collect and analyze agricultural costs by farm, crop, or activity; prepare production cost reports and performance indicators.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records, assist in annual asset inventory, and report missing or damaged assets.
• Prepare periodic finance reports and keep the ERP system data up to date.
• Contribute to improving internal control procedures within the farm.
