Site Accountant

About the role

The Site Accountant will support the financial and accounting activities of Travco Properties' sites in Egypt. You will be responsible for recording site transactions, maintaining supporting documentation, monitoring cash flows, and preparing regular financial reports in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post site‑related financial transactions, ensuring accurate accounting entries.
• Monitor site cash, petty cash, advances and approved expenses; perform periodic reconciliations.
• Review invoices, payment requests and subcontractor documents for completeness before forwarding to Finance.
• Prepare weekly and periodic site financial reports, expense summaries and reconciliations for the Accounting Department.
• Track actual site expenditures against approved budgets and flag significant variances.
• Assist in preparing pre‑billing reports and support site invoice processing.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Store, Procurement and Site teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely settlement.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts and purchase documents for audit purposes.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in site or project accounting.
• Ability to work with financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
