Site Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Site Maintenance Engineer will support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing ongoing projects across multiple locations, including sites outside Cairo such as El Alamein, the North Coast, and Ain Sokhna. The role involves site inspections, equipment verification, and basic engineering support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site follow‑up visits and inspections for ongoing projects.
• Inspect warehouse equipment before delivery using a standardized checklist.
• Prepare first‑level layout and shop drawings for review.
• Assist in BOQ review and compliance sheet preparation.
• Provide first‑point technical support and escalate complex issues.
• Document site observations, installation progress, and issues.
• Support basic sizing calculations and data collection for pumps, filters, and water‑treatment equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants on installation progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD for layout and shop drawings.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with BOQ preparation (advantage).
