Site Purchaser – Burullus (External)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position supports the Burullus Combined Cycle Power Plant by managing procurement activities, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy O&M requirements. The role blends operational purchasing with logistics oversight and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Execute operational procurement for assigned materials and services, preparing and issuing RFQs.
• Evaluate supplier quotations based on total cost of ownership and create/maintain accurate purchase orders in SAP.
• Follow up on order confirmations, production schedules, delivery status, and quality requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within assigned commodity areas.
• Monitor procurement KPIs such as savings, supplier performance, and on‑time delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Logistics and other internal teams to resolve procurement issues.
• Support supplier claim management and clarify contractual terms.
• Maintain procurement master data, Purchase Orders and Purchasing Information Records in SAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in direct purchasing, material requirements planning or a related supply‑chain role.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, power‑generation or heavy‑industry environments.
• Proven ability to manage operational procurement activities and supplier relationships.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, strong proficiency in SAP is mandatory.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
