SME & Business Banking Relationship Manager (Senior)

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will oversee a portfolio of SME and Business Banking clients across Cairo and other Egyptian governorates (excluding Alexandria and the Delta). The role focuses on acquiring new relationships, deepening existing ones, and ensuring credit risk is managed in line with bank policies.

Key responsibilities

• Screen prospective customers against target market plans and risk acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and update client information, financial statements, and credit analysis for annual, initial, and interim reviews.
• Review and approve credit extensions, ensuring accurate facility structures and risk‑reward balance.
• Monitor client risk positions, conduct regular follow‑ups, and manage past‑due reports.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to resolve internal issues and deliver service within agreed SLAs.
• Identify expansion opportunities, conduct marketing calls, and generate qualified referrals for cross‑selling.
• Provide a full suite of treasury, cash management, trade, and corporate finance solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SME or Business Banking relationship management.
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and regulatory limits.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and structure credit facilities.
• Excellent client service orientation and communication skills.
