SOC Analyst Level 2 – Security Operations Center

About the role

The Security Analyst will become a core member of a 24x7 Security Operations Center, responsible for monitoring the SIEM platform, handling security incidents and supporting vulnerability mitigation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system and investigate all related alerts.
• Respond to security incidents, document handling steps and produce resolution reports.
• Conduct forensic analysis, data recovery and support penetration testing activities.
• Perform daily security scanning, risk assessments and vulnerability research.
• Configure and administer security tools, firewalls, routers and switches.
• Provide actionable security recommendations to improve the client’s security posture.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business units to develop mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT/Security operations or a SOC environment.
• Professional security certifications such as CIHE, CEH, CPTE or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong understanding of network devices, firewalls and security best practices.
