Social & Behavior Change Internship – Girls’ Empowerment

About the role
Join UNICEF’s Social and Behavior Change team in Cairo as an intern focused on girls’ empowerment. You will work under the supervision of the SBC Specialist to support the design, coordination, and documentation of initiatives that promote gender equality and enhance the agency of adolescent girls.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing briefing notes, presentations, concept notes and other content related to girls’ empowerment.
- Organise programme data, draft summary reports and document lessons learned.
- Support communication and coordination with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment of activities.
- Provide administrative and logistical assistance to the Girls’ Empowerment Unit.
Required profile
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme, or a recent graduate (within 2 years).
- Strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university records.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
