Social Media Manager – Digital Operations

About the role

Kijamii, an award‑winning advertising agency, is seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee the seamless execution of digital operations across client social channels. You will ensure accurate publishing, maintain channel health, monitor competitors, and provide data‑driven performance insights.

Key responsibilities

• Publish approved content on all platforms according to the calendar, verifying formatting, captions, hashtags, links and platform‑specific requirements.
• Own weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports, highlighting KPIs, wins, challenges, competitor benchmarks and optimisation recommendations.
• Monitor client social channels daily, flagging negative comments, community‑management gaps and potential crises for immediate escalation.
• Track competitor activity and emerging social trends, feeding insights into the content planning process.
• Maintain and optimise each client’s social profiles – images, bios, links, tags and featured sections – and audit channels regularly for platform updates.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines consistently.
• Excellent analytical mindset with experience turning data into actionable recommendations.
• Proactive communicator who can coordinate with designers, copywriters and community managers.
