Software Developer - Engineering Support (Senior Associate)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate Software Developer to join its Engineering Support team in Cairo. The role focuses on building and maintaining high‑performance web applications, supporting both front‑end and back‑end components, and ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable services and platforms using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Create high‑level solution designs and technical architectures aligned with best practices and compliance standards.
• Write detailed technical user stories with acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Develop, test, and document REST APIs and OpenAPI specifications, using tools such as Postman.
• Provide engineering support for API portfolios, guiding internal and external developers.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end technology solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience building reliable, scalable services/platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct requirement analysis and create technical designs.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and delivering complex API‑centric solutions.
