Solution Engineer, Microsoft Ecosystem Solutions

About the role

Ridgepoint Electric is looking for a Solution Engineer to lead technical pre‑sales activities for its Microsoft‑focused product portfolio across the Middle East and Africa. You will work hand‑in‑hand with the Account Executive to discover customer needs, run demos and proofs of concept, and ensure the promised solution is delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Account Executive on every qualified opportunity, owning the technical side of the MEDDIC framework.
• Conduct technical discovery of customers' Microsoft estates, identifying gaps in device management, application packaging and automation.
• Design and deliver custom demos and proofs of concept for Recast Right Click Tools and Application Workspace.
• Produce solution designs, architecture diagrams, security/compliance responses and RFP answers for regulated and public‑sector accounts.
• Enable and train reseller, system‑integrator and MSP engineers to run discovery and demos independently.
• Hand off cleanly to implementation and support teams, keeping CRM and portal data up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• 5+ years of presales or solution engineering experience in the Microsoft ecosystem, preferably with a distributor, VAR, SI or ISV.
• Hands‑on experience running ConfigMgr, Intune, Entra ID and Active Directory in production.
• Strong background in enterprise‑scale application packaging (MSI, MSIX) and delivery.
• Proven ability to run proofs of concept and write technical responses for enterprise or public‑sector buyers.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage, French a plus.
