Specialist Demand Planning

About the role

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Specialist Demand Planning in Maadi on a contract basis. The role ensures the right inventory is available at stores (no out-of-stock or overstock situations) by analysing current stock levels and updating ordering parameters.

Key responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of stock movement and running reports on daily inventory adjustments
• Maintain replenishment model parameters (lead times, reorder points, economic order quantities, supplier minimum order quantities) and ensure they are correctly entered in the system
• Prepare demand forecasts, initiate orders to stores and track their receipt
• Manage inventory in coordination with Category Managers and ensure timely, accurate analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecasts
• Dispatch orders to suppliers and track them, and liaise with suppliers to improve collaborative forecasting and replenishment
• Keep accurate records of in-stock and inventory positions

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in inventory controlling and demand planning
• Detail-oriented, structured and able to prioritise, delivering solutions rather than bottlenecks
• Able to interact with senior-level executives and manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Energetic, eager to learn, with excellent analytical and communication skills and hands-on approach to tools
• Robust interpersonal and intercultural skills, able to inspire teams and stakeholders
• Fluent English and Arabic highly advantageous
