Sr. Airfreight Operation Executive

About the role

PSA BDP is seeking a Senior Airfreight Operation Executive to coordinate and execute airfreight activities across its global network. The role involves managing pricing, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless cargo movement in compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate airfreight rates with airlines, GSAs, origin offices and agents.
• Prepare and follow up on client quotations, including freight and optional insurance.
• Maintain quotation data, win‑loss ratios and track airline contract validity.
• Execute airway bills, coordinate cargo acceptance with ground handling agents and carriers.
• Handle customs clearance in line with Egypt customs rules, including inspections.
• Coordinate cargo pickup with customers and dispatch teams, ensuring proper packing and labeling.
• Create job costing sheets for finance invoicing after delivery.
• Update shipment details in the PSA BDP system and provide timely status updates to customers.
• Inform customers of export clearance requirements and ensure invoicing within 48 hours of delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in airfreight operations and rate negotiation.
• Familiarity with Egypt customs regulations and documentation.
• Strong coordination skills with carriers, ground handling agents and internal teams.
• Customer‑focused attitude with ability to communicate status and requirements clearly.
