Steward – Hotel Utility Cleaner

About the role

The Steward (Utility Cleaner) supports daily operations across the hotel’s kitchen, food-and-beverage, and laundry areas. Working full-time at Sheraton Montazah Hotel, you will ensure that guests enjoy clean linen, spotless dishes and a safe, tidy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain clean linen and dining ware for guest use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dish-washing machines, hand-wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishes, utensils and linens between departments efficiently.
• Move, lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold uniform and appearance standards.
• Support team goals by maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and other departments.

Required profile

• No formal education or prior experience required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist and lift for extended periods.
• Commitment to a safe workplace and adherence to company policies.
• Professional demeanor, reliable attendance and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Basic operation of dish-washing and linen-washing equipment.
• Ability to handle manual tasks involving lifting and moving items up to 50 lb.
• Understanding of basic safety and hygiene standards in a hospitality setting.
