Steward (Kitchen Porter)

About the role

Join Hilton’s Hotels team as a Steward and be the first point of hospitality for guests. In this kitchen‑porter role you will keep serviceware and work areas spotless, support banquet setups and ensure a safe, clean environment for both guests and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and polish all chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain overall kitchen cleanliness, including mopping floors and removing waste.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene protocols, handling hazardous substances safely.
• Report any hazards or equipment issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Train and mentor new team members to strengthen overall performance.
