Stewarding Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Stewarding Attendant to join our hotel kitchen team in Cairo. You will ensure the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, supporting smooth operations and a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, monitoring detergent levels and water temperature.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining ware.
• Assist with polishing silverware and copperware as needed.
• Maintain a tidy, dry work area at all times.
• Support the kitchen team during banquet events by handling high‑volume dishwashing.
• Follow safety procedures, wear appropriate gear, and set up decoy systems for soiled dishes.
• Report damaged or faulty equipment to the Steward Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills
