About the role
Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Stock Controller in Cairo. The role reports indirectly to the Inventory Controllers and focuses on cycle counting, quality checks and complaint handling at stores.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct all types of cycle counts at stores (random, hybrid and manual)
- Identify SKUs with high quality complaints and run daily checks so high-quality standards are kept at the store
- Check high-selling items and fresh and ultra-fresh items rigorously to reduce complaints
- Do random checks on packed orders to make sure pickers follow packing SOPs
- Report issues on specific SKUs or picker behaviour to the relevant stakeholders
- Find the root cause of quality, expiry and damage complaints and take action to reduce them
- Ensure no damaged, expired or poor-quality products are on the shelves
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in warehousing or quality control, preferably in the grocery industry
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment
